Drop being someone in the future, just be!

 An imagined entity 

desires to become 

an enlightened 

entity.

 

What’s the point?

Gurus are telling you that they are enlightened while you are not, but if you earnestly follow their instructions, and are really devoted and serious, you may have a shot at it in the future.

 

The Bible is telling you that you always have to follow the Ten Commandments, and the instructions Jesus left behind; and if you are really devoted and appeal to father and son, they may let you in.

 

This story of being somebody in the future will be here as long as our mind is in charge. That’s what the mind does, project the past and the present into some imagined future. Yet, all we have is here and now.

 

Let’s step out of all this nonsense. All we have to do is to become aware of this entity that tells fancy stories and wants to be somewhere else instead. Awaken to this craving to be and just be. Case closed.
