I always go to Supercuts but for some reason they changed their phone system, and I couldn’t reach anyone, so I went to the haircutter our boys always go to. A friendly girl offered to take me in without an appointment and during the familiar small talk she ask me what I was doing. “I am retired”, I said curtly. She kept poking. “Well, you must be doing something.” I don’t talk about my spiritual calling to people I don’t know, but given that she insisted I replied, “I write spiritual books.” That opened up a gateway. She told me that her Awakening started this March. She said that she can suddenly see auras of people, experiences synchronicity, even shifting timelines, and had spiritual birthmarks that appear and disappear. Unfortunately, she kept her voice down given that she didn’t want her colleagues to follow the conversation and had the trimming machine running next to my ears, so it was hard for me to keep up with her. Still, I got enough to understand that she just needed a little assurance that she is part of a big network of like-minded who see the world with new eyes. I stoped by later and gave her my breaking free book that is full of little anecdotes like that— thanks to the contributions of many of you—so that she hopefully understands her calling a little better.
Our encounter definitely made her day. We both had to smile about the fact that Supercuts’ phones were down. The Holy Spirit made our little encounter possible yesterday.
