Hold the pain body like a jewel

I have met many in the spiritual community with unbelievable intuition and sensitivity to the moment. Yet, I have also seen the same friends under the influence as they got triggered and the same trusted instincts suddenly sent them on a wild goose chase led by the fears and imaginations of an overactive mind.

Most of us spiritual folks know when we know, but we can also learn to realize the situations when we don’t know, and either learn to sit it out until our trusted instincts return, or in the meantime, to seek the counseling of a trusted friend.

The clear sky analogy comes to mind here. We know when the sky is blue. Is it really so hard to sit it out when the clouds and the bad weather is moving in? All of us aspire to walk safely in the eye of the storm, no matter how bad it is.

There is something to do here and now. Awareness is really the unveiling— recognizing fear, aspiration, pain bodies of the past and familiar triggers. Sit with them. Hold them like a jewel as J. Krishnamurti put it and unveil the blue sky.
