Just look and let the heart rule!

 George Clooney: “Bingo, Asians.”

Colleague: “You can’t be serious!”

George Clooney, “You never get behind people traveling with infants. I have never seen a stroller collapse in less than 20 minutes. Old people are worse. Their bodies are littered with metal, and they never appreciate how little time they have left. There you go (pointing to a middle eastern looking guy), five words: random selected for additional screening. Asians (pointing to two Asian men). They pack light, travel efficiently and have a thing for slip-on shoes.”

Colleague: “That’s racist!”

George Clooney: “I am like my mother. I stereotype. It’s faster!”

At the risk of sounding like George Clooney in “Up in the Air,” women are better at spirituality because they are closer to their heart. Spirituality is really quite simple. Love, compassion and empathy are heart-centered and everything else is unimportant. Sure, women have an Achilles Heel too, activate their fear and other pain bodies, and their triggered mind takes them on a wild goose chase.

Men are good at conceptualizing and theorizing. That makes them good-sounding spiritual teachers but overrides their heart connection. You always feel when someone has made it to the other side: pure love and attention to the moment at hand. Men and women can get there alike, but everyone has to find their idiosyncratic journey to the heart and away from psychological mind.

When it comes to fear and pain body, look right at the issue and wrap your heart around it so that the psychological mind has no chance grabbing the steering wheel. When it comes to concepts and intellect, look at the issue at hand completely and Oneness will emerge through the dualistic perspective. Again, giving psychological mind nothing to hold onto. Just look and let the heart rule.
