The reader of my posts probably knows that I used to get spirit messages from license plates. It sounds crazy but that’s how the beyond used to reach my overactive mind and managed to get a little spiritual sense into me. LL was in Lord’s Love in that vocabulary, but it occurred to me today that the German expression loslassen (letting go) is that—Lord’s Love. The only thing keeping us from experience the love and abundance of the Beyond is what we cling to in the real world. We can feel when we cling. We get blurry eyes as we stare at what we desire. We can sense the agenda that prevents us from seeing life as is.
What is a desire but a thought that being somewhere else can make us happier than being here and now, and what is an aversion but a feeling that being somewhere else can rescue us from being miserable here and now. What if we could let go of these thoughts? What if we could see there here and now as what is and let it be. Let the moment speak for itself before thinking about alternatives. What are you cling to right now? Can you let go? Open up to the Lord’s Love. It’s right where you are.
