Descartes didn’t dig deep enough when he concluded, “I think therefore I am.” There is a layer of consciousness beneath that level which is a simple “I exist” realization. It’s quiet there, and there is serenity in this mysterious observer and manifestation role. Everyone can reach that level, if only one manages to leave behind the much noisier, much scarier, but also much more exciting “I am this, I am that” mode of living.
There is a light emanating from the spiritual advanced. It is a glow of sorts. All the energy centers are activated, and stillness reigns in the crown, the spiritual eye perceives oneness in life’s apparent dualities, and the heart center embodies compassion for life as is. You ask how to get there. It’s a falling into the “I exist” mode, and life’s energies carry the day. J. Krishnamurti discovered choice-less awareness—energy speaks for itself.
