In between Karma and Destiny

 God, give me the coffee to change the things I can,

and the wine to accept the things I can’t.

 

We are all embedded in energy fields that we have to sort through: partner, family, work, health, unforeseen events, etc. We can’t run away from our problems, just as we cannot run away from our self. That’s where hard work in the day and a little wine at night comes in. We might say, “love your fate!” Deal with it and surrender.

 

But then, we all have access to nearly unlimited energies and opportunities. Once again, partner, family, work, body, unexpected breaks, etc. We have access to unspeakable opportunities and can—with a little divine help—create our destiny. That’s the shot of coffee in the morning. We might say, aspire and achieve!

 

Who am I? I am the one who watches the pull and push from karma and destiny and become conscious because of it. I am part of the creative energies that make the supposed obligations a life worth living for. Somewhere between karma and destiny, I live the life I love and love the life I live.
