The crossroad

When we encounter a crossroad, we have four choices. We can go to the right. We can go to the left. We can stay still, and we can go back. Beforehand there was no thought, because walking forward was straightforward. Now that the choice reveals itself the “I” has a choice to make. Yet, there is no separate “I” and the crossroad’s purpose is to allude us to this fact. “Who sent us down the road?” and “What is the purpose of going down the road?” are the external considerations. “Who faces this decision and why?” are the internal consideration. The decision reveals itself, as the “body-mind-world” manifestation speaks loud and clearly. “I” didn’t choose to proceed, “it is so!” did.
