Illusion exists when what I believe is real can disappear in the blink of an eye. Say, I was mad at you before and now I learn that you did what you did because you wanted to help me, or someone else, or simply had a bad day and apologize. Instantly the madness is gone.
Truth is what survives the test of time. We may say, every loving thought is true. Now what do we do if the madness lingers despite our best efforts? Should we appeal to Jesus, to God, or the Holy Spirit to work miracles? I would say the distortion is within; let’s find it.
Every word of A Course in Miracle is true, but it is a deeply religious book. I would keep an eye on the Truth as well as the illusion and just dig a little deeper when the mountain refuses to come to the prophet. What’s wrong with going on a walk ourselves until the Truth shines through.
