Mundane and Meaningful Moments

The other day I posted a note on synchronicity and the same evening I was presented with a mind-blowing synchronous event that was using this post as a reference. So, did I give myself a present just by sharing what I know with others? Naturally!

Time is our friend in the way that even living in this limited body, mind, world matrix there is an unlimited power embedded in it that uses these memories, feelings, insights in order to connect us with this “power of now” in the most effective way possible.

On the other hand, time becomes an enemy when we want to get something out of the body, mind, world deal in the future—the convenient acronym here is that we envision driving our shiny BMW, or as a South African told me, B-M-W refers to “be my wife!”

Spiritual living is to get everything we ever wanted—meaning, insight, happiness, empowerment—out of the present moment. Let’s welcome the mundane as well as the meaningful moments for every moment in time is cultivated by a power beyond our wildest imagination.

I always cringe when people say that spiritual work will make us better or more connected in the future. This view belittles the power of the now. No moment will be more enlightened than the present one. It’s us who have to get out of the Way and there is no better time to do that than here now.
