Just be and claim your present

"Just be, in all its simplicity.

There is nothing to do.

Just rest in your Being."

 Nisargadatta Maharaj

What we call spiritual path is really a guided tour to uninstall the conditioned mind that humanity “evolved” into over eons. The mistake is to think that bliss is waiting at the end of it. Or rather, the mistake is thinking that “being, consciousness, bliss” cannot be enjoyed already now while the un-conditioning process unfolds. We are always “That,” but sometimes we can’t see the blue sky because it is raining so hard. It’s all right.

We sometimes wonder, how can we connect with that Presence that always is, and when we experience It, we find that “I Am” is as easy as breathing. Maybe a Moji or an Eckhart Tolle is qualified to connect others with this Presence but the easiest way to proceed is just facing the here and now. If you feel anxious, face it. If you are resisting what is going on, or greedy to have more, face it. The here and now does the uninstalling of old programs.

Pleasure and pain cannot withstand the power of now when we are in love with being. The spiritual quest may not be over in time as still deeper-rooted conditionings are discovered even as we let go of outgrown programs, but the method of claiming “being, consciousness, bliss” is always found in the here and now. Just be and realize that the here and now always has a present in store—pure bliss or another chance at letting go.
