A number of spiritual friends report that at some stage of their inward journey they experienced an opening of energy centers, that is, the rise of the famous energy serpent along the spine. It’s the removal of idiosyncratic attachments, aversions, aspirations and subconscious interferences that hindered the flow of universal energy. Life is an ongoing crafting of this universal energy highway. Every event—perceived as high or low—is contributing to the eventual advancement of the river merging with the sea of Oneness.
