I came, I saw, and it was good

 A guy stands in front of a mirror and says to himself, “you are attractive!” Is that the ego talking? Is he perhaps deluded, overlooking rule 1 of spiritual insight, “you are not your body?” It’s an interesting question, who is the one who hears this voice in front of the mirror?

 

Body, mind and world emerge from “no-thing-ness” and they dissolve into “no-thing-ness.” This fact is a little hard to follow for someone who is not familiar with our spiritual insights, even though physicists should have no problem with that conjecture. Everything is energy on a quantum level.

 

The Hindus call the eternal eyes before material manifestation “being, consciousness, bliss.” I sometimes refer to this state as “Awareness is.” It’s a dearth of self-centered thought, but it is also a feeling of contentment, wholeness and abundance. I had it as a child and rediscovered it.

 

Be in touch with that frequency of Oneness and wholeness and start looking within for it, and if necessary, take a second look in the outside world as well. The baseline sentiment of “Awareness is” can be described as “I came, I saw, and it was good!” Hope you see, feel and know it too.
