Serenity and love are here now

Eckhart Tolle was 29 when he experienced a sudden shift. He had struggled immensely up to this point and one night he felt like being sucked into a vortex and the next morning he experienced peace. The noise part of the brain with all its personal stories and complains somehow just shut up. He then started his 50-year campaign to describe the downside of personal identification and how to step out of it.

There are 3 requirements to follow our spiritual giants in merging with Oneness by stepping out of the personal identification. The personal involvement has to be recognized in the stream of thoughts, feelings and life’s confusing events. We have to be willing to step out of it and we have to be able to let go even if the problem statement of the personal identification has been recognized and we wish to step out of it.

Which corner of the ego temple is still heavily defended? Is life alerting you to the presence of a pain body or an unfulfilled desire by keeping you in a loop. Can you reach the peace Eckhart Tolle achieved overnight? Insight is letting go as J. Krishnamurti was never tired of telling us. When we see a dangerous snake, we instinctively step away. Likewise, if our relationship, mission, or accomplishments are destined to be, we go for it.

Eckhart Tolle said he needed to write The Power of Now and get his spiritual insights out of his system and share it with others, otherwise he would have died. Still, brilliant as his contribution was, he had to wait 20 years before this manuscript saw the light of the day. Serenity and love are here now the moment we manage to leave the personal involvement behind. We follow Creation’s energies and let the world take care of itself.
