The fruit falls when it is ripe.
We fall into the present moment.
Teachers will talk and the “you” listens,
but it’s the vibrations that beget change.
The metamorphosis was once subconscious.
Today the caterpillar has wings and starts to fly.
I woke up around 3 am and noticed that I had awoken from a dream with some narrative running in my head. “Look,” I thought, “the sleeping dreamer has become the waking dreamer.” That is, why on earth is there a narrative running in my head at this early hour. Just like that an energy shift took place, the well-familiar humming sound appeared in my head and whatever problem I had just thought about disappeared in a heart-beat.
Non-duality speakers like Rupert Spira like to point out that spiritual realization is when John Smith remembers again that he is only playing an act in a Shakespeare Play. He had temporarily identified with the role even though he was just in a theater play. Likewise, problems that you felt you had disappear in an instance. There is still something to do about them, but they become a non-event whereas before they captured all your attention.
We can and should share spiritual insights and teachings. They likely stir something in the depth of our subconscious, but the transformation is an energy event. The illustration Rupert Spira gives about the actor John Smith who suddenly remembers that he is just playing an act is a good approximation of what happens when this energy state kicks in, but it is even more than that. It feels more of a disappearance act of both actor and play.
