Facing Pain Is Power

When you dare to face your pain—

the ache of being unseen,

the loneliness of being alone—

these energies must be walked through,

not avoided.

If you turn away from emotion,

it does not fade.

It sinks,

and gathers quietly within.

True strength is born

when you allow the wave to move through your body,

through every cell,

until the current completes its flow.

Only then are you no longer bound

by the pull of emotion.

To say, “It doesn’t matter,”

or “I don’t feel it,”

is to hold an empty strength.

Real power arises

when you have lived through the storm itself.

When you have truly met your sorrow—

felt unseen, unheard, unacknowledged—

you begin to see why your parents, too,

could not see you.

And in that moment of seeing,

the pain dissolves.

Later, when someone overlooks you,

your heart remains calm,

for you have already crossed this river.

This is the quiet ascent of the soul—

not by changing others,

but by walking through your own shadows

until light appears.

Only then

can life unfold

with ease and grace.
