Evolution of God

I often wonder how someone who reads my notes 1000 years hence will think about them. We are in a period of exponential expansion in spiritual consciousness - baring any natural or man-made disasters - so please stretch your thinking! Think about it, how naive our God notion was a few 1000 years ago. The God of the Bible was sometimes jealous and sometimes angry and revengeful; today we can only smile at those notions. No my friend, you have to think big. Perhaps Erich Fromm hit the nail on the head when he - apparently an atheist, at least for most of his life - conjectured the only natural conclusion of the evolution of religious thinking can be:   "You Shall Be As Gods". Of course, this still leaves out the question who YHWH Himself is; well, why to think about the unthinkable anyway.
