Track the use of the word empowerment over the decades in a google book search and you will see a trend that has taken off. We feel empowered, empowered by new technologies, by ever rising education standards (unfortunately still not for everyone, but the numbers are steadily rising on a global scale) and empowered by being around a rising crowd of empowered people.
Life is hard as many of us know, yet, instead of waiting for the blessed time when the resistance is waning, which is likely to come eventually, use the time here and now to break through your power center. What are the areas and people who give you the most resistance? What inner force haven't you embraced yet that would allow you to break through this conflict once and for all? As Lynn Andrews writes in 'Love and Power': One thing I have learned by working with thousands of people over the years is that so often we say we want to be conscious and free and enlightened, but in reality we are afraid of our beauty and our power.
Find your power center, and sometimes that means that you have to start looking at your area of conflict and tension. You are here to live a peaceful, free, harmonious and powerful life, but first you have some homework to do and some psychological baggage to throw overboard. So why not get started today - we are in the age of empowerment, but we need you to show up!
