You probably had the experience that you were profoundly misunderstood. You felt judged by others, you felt that your experience was extremely unfair, and with a tear in your eye and a heartache in your chest, you perhaps even cried out to God, where is the justice in this - why me? We all have this kind of experience at least once or twice in our life when we feel completely out of place and we don't know how to fix it. The worst part is, often despite our call for divine intervention, we find that when it rains, it pours. Your heart is screaming, why, why, why?
You have deep pain. My dear friend, if that is what you are experiencing, please accept what it is and allow yourself to experience this deep pain, allow yourself to cry and to release all the pain and suffering that you have accumulated in the past. This pain, this experience you are going through is the old energy that you have accumulated in the past. It resurfaces to be acknowledged and to be healed. Please stay with this pain, try to understand what it is trying to tell you. It is very much like there is a little boy is crying. If you just scream at him and ask him to stop, he will stop but the sorrow and the pain will still be there and will bother him all day, and sometimes, stay with him for life. Hug him, listen to him and try to understand what he has experienced. Give him your time and attention that he needs to release his sorrow and pain; be patient with him. When he feel that he is done, he will get out of your arms with a smile and run out to play with his friends like nothing has happened
Likewise, we have to have the same patience for ourselves and others in our lifes. Fact is that you sometimes don't even know where your pain comes from. Sometimes the problem is buried deep in our early childhood, while sometimes we are still living out the accumulated pain from previous karmic bonds. If you want to transcend these and avoid accumulating new baggage, you have to be extremely patient, observant and forgiving with every painful experience that comes your way.
We are all one - if you judge someone, you in fact judge yourself. Similarly, when you feel judged, accept the injustice of the situation, accept the anger rising in you, and after allowing these negative emotions rise in you, you let them go. You forgive yourself for getting mad at others, forgive yourself for judging others even though you may not really know what caused their behavior, and you try your best to forgive others.
The world is just a mirror of your inner being. You can proceed twofold. You can work with the person who treated you unfairly, you can try to change him and can try to argue with him. But the second avenue is to understand why you have attracted this person in the first place. What lesson can you learn from him, what unacknowledged hurt in you can you heal here and now because of this holy encounter?
The road to peace of mind is Atonement and forgiveness. Start realizing when you judge others and yourself. Forgive yourself and others for whatever it is that comes your way. We all make mistakes, we all have bad days and we all are just puppets of our fate. I know it is hard to forgive and let go, but you can use Affirmations like these and at least try:
Please forgive me for having judged and criticized you.
Please forgive me when in the time you needed me most, I was not there.
Please forgive me when I have been a harsh judge.
I now see your difficulty and stand by you;
yes, even the whole world is against you,
I will stand by your side,
I am with you,
whether it rains or shines,
because I know,
we all make mistakes,
it is not important whether you might have been right or wrong,
all I care now is to be with you.
I am sorry that I didn't stand by you before,
please forgive me because I needed the time to grow up myself.
Now I am mature enough,
I stand by your side, always,
Even if the whole world were to collapse,
I will stand by your side,
I will stand by your side.
I will be careful not to play the role of the judge or the police anymore,
I will be your angel, watch over you, accompany you,
be with you, always.
