Squaring the Circle

Half human, half animal, we are caught in duality the moment we are born. The symbol of the TAO reflects that, the circle split into a black and a white half, with a dot of the opposing color safely imbedded in each half circle. The duality of life is embedded in the TAO, yet the WAY is beyond it.

The symbol of the CHRIST is the cross - the HOLY TRINITY - the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT. The CHRIST stands for enlightenment; it embodies the transcendence of the human element. Symbolically, the North Star shines above the world. It touches it viewed from the far, yet, it is beyond it.

ONENESS is all there is. It doesn't matter whether you find your SELF by discovering the CHRIST in you, or whether you transcend life by meditation, the way Buddha did, or by spiritual insight, the way Lao-Tzu did. Many roads lead to GOD. Pick the one that works for you. When it comes to GOD, squaring the circle becomes a child's play.
