Consciousness, Choice, and Creation along the WAY

It's not having what you want.
It's wanting what you got.
(Soak up the Sun, Sheryl Crow)

We can awaken to the fact that we are the children of GOD. We have the consciousness to perceive our GOD connection every step of the WAY. Sometimes it is a choice on behalf of our SELF, and sometimes it is a struggle against the longings of the self. Sometimes it is a conscious creation of the environment that we aspire. Create what you want as long as you don't interfere with your SELF. That is what the world was built for.

Our problem is that our self sends us more often than not on a wild goose chase. We may not be happy with what we got because we overlook the diamonds that are right in front of us while running after what glitters on the horizon. But then, sometimes we have internal conflicts that don't allow us to claim what is naturally ours. We deserve to be surrounded by love, and deserve to have a job that allows us to express our creativity. We certainly also deserve to to live with material comfort. Let the WAY help you fulfilling authentic needs; you don't have to sacrifices anything along the WAY.

So it turns out that by following the WAY, we have to play defense as well as offense. Playing defense would be if life tells us that the cravings of the self are self-defeating and we finally have the insight to drop the stuff we are forced to let go off by the WAY-side. Playing offense is the opposite. We understand that we have been way to shy and haven't been aiming high enough. So we finally start to follow life's cues, and aim a lot higher than we have done before.

The three Cs - consciousness, choice and creativity - are the ticket to be part of the WAY. If this sounds like a lot of work and responsibility, it actually doesn't have to be. The trick is once we start looking out for our GOD connection, the universe starts conspiring in our favor. Life plans a bounty for us as long as we stop interfering with its suggestions and have the guts to follow through. Otherwise we don't have to do much. Just soak up the sun and follow the WAY until we want what we got.
