Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

Wiser words have hardly been spoken. When it comes to our thoughts, they bubble up from the depth of our being; sometimes we can steer them, while sometimes we are helplessly exposed. Same with our actions, some come straight from the belly, while others we can in fact control. Every choice comes with a chain-reaction just as Lao-Tzu has identified. Every loving choice in the holy NOW liberates is a little bit more from our karma. Many loving choices set us free.
We might have been robotic over long stretches of our life, but when the loving embrace of the holy NOW captures us, GOD becomes our destiny. A spiritual path brings us back to HER on the fastest possible route.
