GOD, ego and 'It'

Freud conjectured that our being can be summed up as ego, super-ego and the 'id'. The trinity I want to propose is GOD, ego and 'It' instead. The GOD versus ego choice is what we spiritual travelers are concerned with, but life can be complicated. There are subconscious biases and there are life's complicated interactions. There are hopes, musts, fears, energy attractions and interferences. The 'It' is what guides us spiritual travelers through life, right into GOD's arms. The 'It' is the divine Matrix, an expression of our karmic bonds as well as our soul longings.

The 'It' works in the background and only makes us believe that we are in charge of our destiny. We are pushed and pulled by what is beneath the hood just like puppets. Over time we spiritual travelers can become ever more sensitive to the GOD versus ego choice that life presents. Especially if you are the spiritual wisdom seeker type, you can investigate the 'It' very much as Freud wanted us to become masters of the id. In contrast, for the devotional seekers, let the 'It' carry you HOME. All you have to do is to follow your spiritual path in good faith.
