Many paths lead to Rome, and many spiritual paths lead us HOME. There are those who see every choice between love and fear, between our permanent GOD CONNECTION and the ego. Follow the SELF every step of the WAY, they say, and sooner or later you will be HOME.

The alternative route is to find out what the Soul wants. Maybe experiencing a mind-blowing success story - or a crushing defeat - brings us a step closer to compassion and wholeness. Finding or losing the love of our life, or getting sucked into a messy love affair, may allow us to understand a bit better what true love is all about. The Soul is somewhere in-between human and Divine. It is the Force that patiently guides us through all the rainbow colors, as Neale Walsch puts it so well in his 'Conversations with God' , so that we can eventually merge with the light.

The Way of the Soul dives right into the messiness and busyness of life. We always have the spiritual compass next to us, but we don't mind a little dirt on our boots either. Life will bring us HOME eventually. Yes, we can line up self, Soul and SELF, but it takes skill and experience to get there. That's what a spiritual path is all about and eventually every traveler can rejoice in doing GOD's WILL.
