Realizations along the WAY

I had a vision of sorts. I saw myself on a high speed boat splashing through the ocean while I was holding on to the steering wheel. I understood that the engine was my drive; the sexual desires, the professional goals, the urge to be someone. I understood that I had the choice to express that power with my steering wheel, but that the energy had to be burnt.

Lord Krishna talks about our nature and our mission - our dharma - that has to be expressed in this lifetime. The Tao Te Ching compares us to marionettes, driven by forces outside of our control. We can awaken to these plots along our spiritual path. We realize that we have the steering wheel in hand. Let's build something beautiful with this raw power.

To be at GOD's services, to act in accordance with the WAY, is the mission of us spiritual travelers. It is not the destination that matters so much, it is the WAY we enjoy step by step. GOD recycles this karma for us, the repressed guilt, the lower nature and lets us recognize that we are merely riding a boat that is not us at all. We awaken to I AM THAT I AM.
