The Soul Wants What It Wants

We are here to manifest. We are here to allow GOD's KINGDOM into our lives. The Soul has needs; we have karma to burn and new spiritual insights to manifest. As GOD said in Neale Walsch's 'Conversations with God', all of us have to cover all rainbow colors in orders to finally be the light. So if you indulge in the serenity of blue, you have no business to look down on someone who jumps into the burning red colors of passion.

It is said that that when the struggling monk Vivekanada asked his guru Ramakrishna for a personal session with Kali Maa to ask Her for some relief for his struggling family, three times he was unable to ask in the depth of samadhi for anything materialistic. In Her Presence, he was simply unable to think of anything that was not of GOD. After the sessions were over, Sri Ramakrishna made in fact fun of him.

There are times to make a living, and there are times to be with GOD. Don't be ashamed of the former, and enjoy every moment of the latter. Eventually your spiritual path will bring self, Soul and SPIRIT together, but until then, give the emperor what is his, live your passions and let life strip you of everything that you are not until finally GOD is with you every step of the WAY.
