A definition can't be right or wrong, it can only be useful or not. The Soul is somewhere in-between human and Divine. It is the GOD connection that remembers the past so to speak. Karmic obligations, traumatic experiences of prior lifetimes and the life's mission. Would you for example say, "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your SELF on fire?" The eternal GOD connection is free and serene and just reminds quietly that only the Kingdom of GOD has permanence; nothing else does.
Our Soul mission is a different one. By following our passion we finally burn the interference that still keeps us back from returning HOME. It is the homework we still have to complete here in the messy world. Be fearless in pursuing what makes you tick.
