Our preference for certain people, occurrences and emotions makes us inflexible and tense. We stop opening up to what is happening at this precious moment. Instead, our expectations rule and we live in our head. This resistance to reality creates even more suffering and prevents us from joining the flow.
We can be aware of our state of being at every moment. Just be mindful of the voice in your head and the pre-programmed responses of your body and emotions. When we slip into the trap of our mind, we simply can’t open GOD’s present. Experience everything as it is. Open up and let the moment be what it is.
When we join the flow, time stands still.
