Purpose, Passion and Faith (Revisited)

Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen, some people make it happen.
(Michael Jordan)

Do not ask what GOD can do for you, ask instead what you can do for GOD, to paraphrase J. F. Kennedy's mandate a little. That's where our spiritual purpose comes from, and this is what gives us spiritual travelers meaning. What are our strengths? What are our GOD-given talents? Be mindful though, being spiritual doesn’t mean that we should negate what makes us tick inside. To the contrary, walking the Way is fun, allows us to express ourself, and provides us with peace of mind at the same time. Along the Way purpose and passion meet. Our ego sees finally eye to eye with our true Self.

I have hung out with the best of the best in the competitive financial industry. What I have learned there is that ‘success’ as measured by others is always fleeting in the end. Yet, I have also learned that will-power combined with a purposeful mission can get you to unimaginable places. Go inwards, find your mission and the Way will show you how to get there. We spiritual travelers have the required ‘Michael Jordanesque will-power’ - it is called faith. Our success rate is 100 percent, not one in a million, because it is our life story in the end that gives us meaning. GOD makes sure that it will be a good one.

When purpose, passion and faith, our work becomes an avocation. Follow the Way and see your dreams come true.
