The ego worries about life’s outcomes but we don’t have to. Let whatever has to happen happen. Enjoy life’s ups, but don’t get complacent either. Cry and lament during life’s set-backs, but pick yourself up the next morning and get back into the race to try a lot better this time around.

We write our life story, no one else can do it for us. Viewed from that perspective, what is there to fear? Either we thank our friends for life’s successes, or we thank our adversaries for the willpower and the drive to make a come-back. This is not how the story ends, you will see me again.
