Waiting for GOD

The Holy Spirit is the Mediator between the interpretations of the ego and the knowledge of the Spirit. His ability to deal with symbols enables Him to work with the ego’s beliefs in its own language. (A Course in Miracles)

What brings you closer to GOD, to be religious, or to have a spiritual mindset and looking for GOD in life’s daily occurrences? GOD is not of this world, yet HE is omnipresent, HIS PRESENCE permeates everything.

The Course in Miracle is religious in nature. It asks us to be miracle minded in all of our interactions with others. In the interaction with our sister, Spirit lines up our separate agendas and makes the union whole.

The more spiritually minded traveler will see GOD’s spark often, but not always, just as not every appeal to the Holy Spirit of his more religiously inclined friend will work out either. Many roads lead to GOD, no one has fast-lane access, spiritual or religious.

For everyone there comes the time for the upgrade, the personal Conversation with GOD. No Spirit needs to translate anything; the vision sees GOD everywhere; the Soul has finally returned HOME while still living here on planet earth.

Miracles are band-aids to provide a glimpse of GOD’s KINGDOM in an ego distorted world. Samual Beckett’s ‘Waiting for Godot’ was an unnecessarily pessimistic metaphor of our journey. We can have fun waiting. Moreover, GOD always shows up in the end!
