Christ or Zen—there is only Your Way

Spirituality or religion, there is no right or wrong. Spirituality has a ‘do-it-yourself’ flavor to it, while the established religions allow you to walk with the great ones who finished the journey before you. Religion literally means ‘to hold onto’; religion is brilliant, as long as what you hold on to what works for you.

Follow the Christ and you see love wherever you go. That is, you see love, or you see the opportunity to help when some loved ones have the need for healing. Walk the way of Christ and you are asked to become a miracle worker just as he was when walked the land of Israel as healer, preacher and Son of God.

The Zen world is very different. We leave life mostly to itself, unless we are invited to join the dance. We don’t lose sleep over duality. We don’t have to heal anyone unless we are asked to engage. Love or hate, good or evil, we react to the situation at hand as seems fit. Miracles happen naturally—we never ask for them.

There is no wrong or right when it comes to returning Home—there is only your Way.
I might be the most pragmatic spiritual traveler there is. I see Christ’s handwriting in many human interactions; I practice non-duality when I love some folks from a distance. Christ, Zen, I Am That I Am—Spirit can be experienced every step of the Way!
