Every spiritual traveler has a ‘Conversation with God’ in one way or another. That’s what a spiritual path is all about. A higher Power comes along and takes over the steering wheel. When my Awakening started in 2007/2008, I received these ‘Conversations with the Beyond’ in form of encrypted messages on Massachusetts license plates, as well as in the lyrics of ‘randomly played songs on the radio. You can probably imagine the surprise of the rational PhD trained economist when these divine messages first popped up. I immediately felt the need to tell others about these synchronicities and serendipities, and that was how I became a spiritual writer in the first place. Divine communications evolve though, at least that is what happened to me. These days I enjoy much more getting my messages from the Holy Spirit in conversations with people I care for rather than in some ‘randomly’ played songs on the radio. Still, now and then these meaningful messages still pop up, and for some reason I still receive many spiritual messages from Massachusetts license plates to this day.

I remember well how in early 2016 Olivia Newton-John’s ‘Magic’ kept popping up everywhere I went. I realized then that it had a meaningful message for me in store, but what exactly the transition would entail I didn’t know then. I had certainly hoped it would be heralding my career as a writer and a spiritual coach which it did. Still, at that time I both feet in the busy world of financial market and I wasn’t ready to give that up either. It is only in hind-sight that I understand how suspicious this period was for me. My first client arrived in early 2016, and it was the time when I started working on my second book, ‘The Way of the Meister’. My day job ended somewhat prematurely and unceremoniously a year later when the team I worked for got effectively demolished. It was hard to see any sense in that transition given that I had tried to build a research platform based on trust and cooperation but all that effort got lost in the ensuing power struggle. So what, today I simply appreciate that I got a head start in launching my spiritual endeavor.


This is sometimes a tough pill to swallow but affirmative signs such as 11:11 can herald unwelcome change for our ego as well. The message essentially reads, ‘hold the course, you are on the right track despite the turbulence’. If you have an interest in numerology you know that 2016 adds to 9, which is a transition year, followed by another 7-10 year cycle. We are currently entering year 3 in this transition so there is still plenty of time to jump aboard. I heard this song in early 2016, and between January 20 and February 20, we had Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn line up in a row, so it really seemed like the planets had aligned for me to go after my dreams at that time:
