When we are in love, we often have strong emotions of love and fear. They are the healing chances brought to us by the Beyond. When we take this love affair as a good opportunity to understand and heal ourselves, this love journey becomes magnificent and divine. It then goes beyond ‘I own you and you own me’.
However, most of us lose ourselves for the goal and cannot really enjoy the journey. We care so much about the outcome and hence lose ourselves in the mind games. Just remember, whenever we are looking for the future, we fall into the trap of mind. Whenever we can spot ourselves playing the mind games, we can then stop the sufferings.
It’s also very common that we feel very vulnerable when we are in love. Many turbulent emotions come alive in us. Ego suddenly stands there naked. All the memories and occurrences related to love now come alive. All the memories of being neglected, abandoned, or left alone, now come alive.
Our relationship with our parents, our old wounds with other lovers, our past life love affairs, now all come alive and ask for healing. We so often blame all our wounds to the current love. As a matter of fact, this lover is just a representative, a connection to our past love history. Our lover is here to help us to heal. When we can look at this person we are involved this way. We suddenly feel grateful for them! We are grateful for them for playing this role to bring us home!
When we can look at this person we are involved with this view, suddenly every thing becomes playful and light!
