Bi-Polar

Correcting oneself is correcting the whole world. The sun is simply bright. It does not correct anyone. Because it shines, the whole world is full of light. Transforming yourself is a means of giving light to the whole world.
Ramana Maharshi

It is ok to take magic mushrooms and get a taste for what lies Beyond. It’s an appetizer of sorts, an indication for what is to come. Yet, remember that afterwards the hard work starts to make this spiritual bliss permanent, the re-orientation away from lower vibrations towards the higher vibrations. Then a spiritual journey starts that heals and deflates old pain bodies. It is not ok to have spiritual experiences under the influence and be satisfied with this stage.

Same with bi-polar mood swings. It’s ok to feel so high to touch the sky but it’s not ok to conveniently overlook the fact that this high is followed by two weeks of downtime, and lecture others in the meantime about our spiritual superiority. I would claim that we spiritual folks are just like all regular folks only that we have been blessed to experience what others can only read in spiritual books. Yet, many of us are as human as they come as well and we should be honest enough to admit this to ourselves and others.

Maybe one day the big break-through comes that allows us to call ourselves Awakened for good, or maybe we cycle back and forth between Heaven and earth until the last day. Again, even that is quite alright as long as we wise enough to share our spiritual insights with others while being humble enough to acknowledge our human roots. Authenticity before enlightenment; wholeness before holiness.
