Awakening is like lucid dreaming

"You have forgotten that this is a dream. You believe it's real. And because you believe it's real, you suffer accordingly."
Robert Adams

Have you ever dreamt lucidly? I used to as a teenager. You somehow wake up within the dream; you know that you are dreaming, and you start consciously creating your dream experience within the dream. During my teenager years, I was chasing girls but somehow always woke up when it came to the kissing part. More recently, I had a lucid dreaming experience once again and I used it for flying. It was incredible! I went at high speed and felt the wind just like I was sitting in a open air plane. I finally and felt free!

An Awakening journey is like lucid dreaming. Compared to the state before our Awakening, it seems like we operate in a different dimension. There is something Beyond the ‘I’-experience we had before. The rules of Oneness appear mystical to those who never experienced it consciously, yet, we can be connected to this Force all the time. Like lucid dreaming, we are at our best when we explore the world of Oneness playfully. We may slip in and out of this constant Awareness just as in lucid dreaming we might also slip back into a dream phase, but we can also snap out of it whenever we want.

We may not be the ones who have completely Awoken from the dream, but we have made living on this blue planet much more fun. We have premonitions and we can heal the past. We feel our connections with others and know that we are One. We have Awoken to a Presence that is always at our disposal even though we still operate from an ‘I’ perspective just as an avatar of a video game, we are living proof that Heaven is in earth and earth is in Heaven. We might not be Awoken yet, but we can introduce others to the lucid dreaming experience, and what a ride it is.
