Take your quest seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously

I have a friend who writes synopses of what our great sages said in the past. He has a great spiritual understanding but he rarely puts his insights on paper. When I asked him why he said, ‘everything that needs to be said about spirituality already has.’

He is probably right. What we can do though, and what we should do, it to share our story and help those who are about to embark on a similar quest as we once did. That’s what I am doing these days. It’s meaningful and it’s a lot of fun!

Awakening is mind-blowing. Share your passion, tell us about the purpose you find in your quest. At the end of the day though, don’t take yourself too seriously. The spiritual quest is of importance; when the dust settles there will be no ‘you’ left standing.
