my hair receded, I gained pounds,
and disappointed some close friends.
Not in vain though, ‘no self’ arrived.
‘Me’ still hangs around—it’s ok really.
Was this period a waste? Yes and no.
God says, the present of Consciousness
is always present in the here and now.
Yet, my soul knows that we can only
let go of our past and people that fast.
It’s all GOoD
