The ego versus God stand-off has an easy illusion, where God is, the ego cannot be. There is self-identification, and there is the state of ‘no self’, the time when thoughts come to a standstill and life and love merely flows through us. This is the time when our crown chakra downloads the understanding, our third eye perceives the oneness, and our heart energy feels the love. Be still. Delve into the here and now. Everything else is just an illusion.
What prevents us from reaching this state of unity and love? It’s the stickiness of our feelings and memories. It’s the persistence of our thoughts and cravings. Don’t worry, Awakening naturally calms the mind down and brings a deeper understanding of our mechanic thought-process and our tendency to cling to the past and to zoom our focus away from the here and now into the future. It does get easier over time to step out of illusion.
