Part-time lover

I never promised you a rose-garden, though a collection of my writings may suggest it. Fact of the matter is, I am only a part-time lover when it comes to spirituality. I write my little notes and mostly share the positive energy and keep the negative one to myself. I make my on-line appearance in the morning and leave the rest of the day for more mundane activities. 

Many of my spiritual friends have occasional time-outs. They disappear after each high, only to resurface with new enthusiasm afterwards. I figure many of us have to return to the surface to regain our breath after each deep dive. Part human, part divine, what’s the big deal, right? I don’t strive for the Light any more; I am just grateful when Grace finds me. If some others are blessed with the Light all the time, good for them.

A change for the better that has taken place in me recently, however, is that there is an inspiration every day. Some downloads are happening in the early hours that I am always excited to share with my reader. The part-time lover arrives in the morning hours for me. ‘I’ve got something that I must tell, last night someone rang our doorbell, and it was not you, my part-time-lover’ sings Stevie Wonder.
