Awakening on the Golf Course

Awakening is just like a game of golf. When the beginner is playing, it’s mostly a hacking around, but now and then, a shot is launched with so much power and precision worthy of a pro golf shot. The lack of consistency is what distinguishes the amateur from the pro golfer on the field.

Likewise, when the power of Now is present, we are That. There is no process that can bring us any closer, and no point in time when we can enjoy the holy Now more than here and now. Still, for everyone who is on an Awakening quest, there is always a little baggage to dispose off, and still some soul lessons ahead.

Lower your handicap in golf mate. It’s so much more fun to play the game when most shots are hit with power and precision. Likewise in life, it does get easier as the self exhausts itself and the lessons of the past have been disposed. Still, the time to hang out with God is always here and now. Enjoy!
