Say ‘Yes’ to Life, and ‘No’ to Fear

God is an open platform architecture.

Christian M. Wiese

There are some open, life-affirming desires, and there is clinging and running after our own agendas. Having desires is not an obstacle for spirituality, fearful clinging is. We may have the desire to spread our insights, create something new or meet new people. That’s how life operates. It’s an explosive action-oriented system, and we are invited to participate to attract the abundance that is our birthright. Desire only becomes a problem when we seek some security in the realms of possessions, power and controlling relationships. That’s when we start interfering with life’s creativeness and bounty. That’s when we step on other people’s toes.

There are really three stages in each spiritual quest. There is the exploration and expansion phase when we start recognizing the open platform architecture that invites us to attract abundance into our life, and share with others. There is the introspection phase when we start recognizing unifying desires and relationships, and when we turn away from all fear-led, power-hungry and controlling desires, and the transcension phase when there is no longer any ‘I-identity’ to speak of and we merge in God’s open architecture platform of ideas, creation and love entirely. With that differentiation in mind, can you visualize a change you will tackle today?
