Leaving our self behind

 The journey of self-discovery

ends with the discovery

that there is no self.

Wu Hsin

Psychology is the study of the self. There is plenty of this along an Awakening journey. We are Consciousness, and when we fail to show up in the here and now, we can be consciousness of our self-imposed interference that keeps us away from It. We can be Conscious or we can learn something about our self. That’s the Awakening quest in a nutshell.

Our spiritual community makes such a big deal about the state of enlightenment but this is disingenuous as well as elitist. There are no unconscious people, everyone has Conscious moments; it’s just that some are too busy to run after what’s meaningful to them so that that they may not appreciate the moment of serenity, love and clarity the way we do.

Consciousness is the satori moment when we are simultaneously the creator, the consumer and the observer. This world is One and this Unity can be experienced and perceived, always. There comes a time when we stop searching because all it takes is to look up or to look within. This special moment might be as ordinary as it comes for most, but we feel blessed being part of it.

Part of Consciousness or learning, no self is always at our disposal.
