Learning is all about your attitude. This attitude is more important than the content you are learning about. If you have a closed-minded attitude like, “this is fear, let me get rid of the fear!”, you are just following a template. It’s a dead thing, you just follow a formula. It’s a pity if you face your life like this. You will miss the opportunity to realize what life is all about.
When our mind is rigid, the only thing we can do is just to repeat what we remember. At this time, our mind is not alive but dead. This is not learning. Learning is not about the content but about our attitude. This attitude is our life. When you have this attitude toward learning, you will have the same attitude toward life. There is no difference between the two.
Please pay attention. Most of the time you already have an attitude of how things should be. If they don’t meet your expectation, you get upset and angry. If things meet your expectations, you are happy and demand it to happens again next time. Can you call this learning? This is deep sleep instead.
We feel pain and cannot transcend the pain because we never learned how to in the past. This is the key, please pay attention to your attitude. This has big implications for the quality of your life. When you can pay attention this way and adopt an open mindset, you will see the truth in your daily life. It is only then when you can have the ability to solve your obstacles.
