On pain

If you only care about your own pain, live in your own world, and only think about yourself, and never really think of others and their pain, it will be very slow for you to clear up your own pain and you will face many limits.  Because your heart is small, it will be very difficult to clear up bigger obstacles.

Most of our pains are buried deep in our sub-consciousness and originate from our present and relationships. Why did the other hurt me?  It is because he is also in pain and therefore can act cruelly.  And his pain is also from others, and now he adds this pain onto me. Naturally then I hurt others because of my pain. All this pain stored in our brain cells and consciousness is accumulated by pain and injuries from many people.

So you can say that your pain is from humanity. When you are clearing up these pain bodies, you are also clearing others’ pain. Therefore, we can say we are not alone in this. You cannot create so much pain by yourself.  It is created by all of us.  So, when you are clearing up these obstacles and pain bodies, you are also clearing theirs. If you don’t have a big heart and only think of yourself, you can only clear up the surface of your emotions and cannot dive into the deep consciousness.

When you make a wish to help others, not to save humanity, but just a wish to help others, these obstacles start to loosen up, and prior pain bodies open up. Because you want to reconcile, then you can possibly loosen up these obstacles.  All our learning and practices, if we cannot look at others, and lack the attitude to open up and accept life as is, it is impossible to be peaceful and still.
