Evolution of spirituality (continued)

 We are unconscious when our aspirations and aversions drive us without having a choice. We go after what is meaningful to us and avoid what we hate.

 

We are conscious in an Eckhart Tolle sense when we are aware of our aspirations and aversions and know that they do not define us. We have a choice in how to act.

 

We are Conscious when the seer of life as is becomes different from the doer. There is no choice. Creation flows through us. There is only choice-less Awareness.

 

In the evolution of spirituality we go from choice-less to choice-less via a quest of apparent choice. In the quest for freedom, we become aware of our entanglements.
