Power nap

 Embedded in life,

yet not ruled by it.

Receiving feelings and ideas,

emanating from ‘I Am That I Am’.

(Christian M. Wiese)

I was on the parking lot waiting for my son’s coaching lesson to finish. A sticky subject was on my mind and I couldn’t let go of it. I decided to try my trusted recipe to resolve the situation, a power nap! 15 minutes later I was up and about, the issue had lost all its power over me.

People tend to make fun of me when I tell them, ‘one day at a time!’. ‘Don’t you know that this is the AA motto’, they ask, to which I reply, well, the more power to them. The night is a holy institution. The Holy Spirit takes what we work with and reallocates our memories and attitudes for us. We are born again each day.

I had a question out yesterday on FB whether we can work towards the here and now and got some amazing answers on both ends on the spectrum. It’s a question of spiritual development. The best of us can snap their fingers and reconnect with the divine energies. The mortal ones may use little tricks, like taking a power nap.
