I used to label things or happenings as bad or good, and then got angry or happy accordingly. These days I realized this is just an action out of my mind. As a matter of fact, I know nothing. When I admit that I know nothing, and pay respect to whatever is happening in my life, my life becomes peaceful!
It is not what’s happening in my life that makes me miserable but my interpretation makes it so. When I pay respect to whatever is happening and pay attention to them, I realize whatever is happening in my life is the expression of the wisdom of this universe. When I have this realization, the resistance to life stops. Instead, I become grateful for whatever is happening. The fear also dropped dramatically, and so did the anger and resentment! We stop suffering with this equanimity of mind.
