Self illusion is if we are unable to look through the false longings and irrational aversions of an entity that only pretends to represent us.
Self indulgence is if we know what lies beyond self but lack the energy to break free from life-long conditioning and programmed habits.
Life’s perceived ups and downs are here to help us break the energy tethers—the here and now is designed to look through the illusion and let go.
