The truth shall set you free

There's a saying that goes, "Truth sets us free." While its meaning may seem simple, it often eludes many.

Let's take anger as an example. I found myself becoming angry because someone wasn't as considerate or kind to me as I wished. In truth, I desired their affection to manifest exactly as I envisioned it. If their actions didn't align with my expectations, I interpreted it as a lack of love. I didn't want to confront this unsettling feeling, so I channeled it through anger.

In essence, what's at the core here is my aversion to the idea of being unloved and ignored. I yearn for their love and dread the painful, empty, and lonely emotions that arise when it seems out of reach.

When we confront our feelings of loneliness and emptiness head-on, the anger dissipates. Much of our actions are driven by anger, expending significant energy in the process. Yet, when we confront these feelings directly, the struggle ceases, our energy surges, and we transcend the anger.

The truth lies in our unwillingness to confront our inner void and loneliness. Confronting this truth naturally brings an end to conflicts, contradictions, pain, and even anger-fueled arguments, saving us from the wasteful drain of energy.

When you bravely face the truth, your energy replenishes, your heart lightens, and liberation follows. It's a direct path to inner freedom.
